Sunshine and Rainbows

Dress: c/o eShakti, Shoes: DSW, Bracelets: T.J. Maxx

This dress is just so bright, cheerful, and summery. I felt like bustin' out into I'm Walking on Sunshine while simultaneously doing the charleston, but instead I just kept it to a polite, girly twirl. And you wanna know the best part about this dress? It was completely customized to me. Finding cute modest dresses that fit is almost impossible, and when I finally do they usually cost more than I can justify. Thankfully, the ladies at eShakti have rescued me.

This is the original dress, before I modified it.

Here's what they have to say about their snazzy dresses,  "eShakti is a unique women's apparel store online that allows custom changes in the style of the garment – sleeve, neckline, length can all be changed by the customer to her preference."

This dress was sleeveless, but I added a small cap sleeve. I love that I can customize it, but truth be told, the sleeves are bit tough to move around in. For example, if I wanted to continue my celebrations to I'm Walking on Sunshine, waving my arms over my head may be a bit uncomfortable. However, since I'm not exactly doing acrobatics in this dress, I don't really mind it. Plus, the dress was shipped to me within one week from the date I ordered it. (Due to shipping, the dress was a bit of a wrinkled mess when I received it—but nothing that a little magic ironing couldn't work out.)

What I really want to say is, you should check out eShakti, because their whole idea is amazing, convenient, and wonderful. The next time you need a dress for a special occasion, you can make a quick stop at eShakti instead of stressfully shopping around for days. I am also crushing on this dress, this dress, and this dress

  1. I love shabby apple dresses because I belong in the 40's era. I mean, I met my hubby swing dancing and then he went out to sea for months at a time (coast guard). So yes I love this style of dress! Lol gonna check it out now!
    You are so pretty btw.
