Transitions

Shirt: Chill Boutique NYC, Pants: Borrowed from sis, Oxfords: Top Shop, Necklace: J. Crew

Transitions have always been hard for me. Going to middle school was very stressful and anxiety ridden. Yes – I was that kid. I was more than stoked to be a 'big kid', but I was also terrified of the unknown– it was bittersweet. Transitioning my wardrobe between seasons is also hard for me. Not so much because I'm afraid of the unknown (but what will I wear?!... Name that movie), but because I'm so excited to wear fall things. However, I'm not sure it's appropriate because it's still sweltering hot. So, I try to mix it up a bit. I add a few bright summery pieces with a fall piece and voila, I have a transition piece!
I tried to find the link to these lovely oxfords because I wanted to share them with you, but a link doesn't exist. If I find them, I'll be sure to share!

  2. I love those shoes, so cute! I don't think I could pull off a color that bright, however. I'm a tall big with feet to match! I love your shirt! Also, how do you get your hair that way? Must I invest in a curling iron afterall??

And are you quoting The Grinch?

    1. Yes, Yes you could totally pull them off! Thank you! Yes, you should invest in a curling iron. I just use a medium sized con air and it was like $19. I just wrap pieces of hair around it. It's super easy. And yes, it is the Grinch! I am so happy you picked up on that. It's my fave movie!
