To the Max

Seaside

Date Night

First Look: Dress: Marshalls (similar look here), Belt & Hat: F21, Shoes: Target
Sunglasses: Chloé giveaway prize from here
Second Look: Dress: Marshalls, Shirt: J. Crew, Jewelry: J. Crew, Michael Kors, Nordstrom Rack
Wedges: Target

It took me while to get into the maxi dresses. I was always afraid of looking pregnant. It might have had something to do with the food baby that seems to grace me with its presence after every meal.  It comes  as a result of always stuffing myself to the rim... I have a really good relationship with food if you know what I mean. Whatever it was, I got over it and realized, "I have been missing out on this comfiness this whole time?!" So, my dear friends, don't be afraid of the maxi. Embrace it. I promise you'll be glad you did. You might even want to wear it two days in a row! You can mix it up and where it different ways. Pair it with a belt and floppy hat for a seaside look, or dress it up with a tie-blouse, wedges, some sparkly accessories, and of course, raspberry lips. I'm looking for more maxi dresses with sleeves. They seem to be hard to come by. So, please, if you have seen any around please let me know!

  2. Love the striped maxi. There's just something fun and flirty about a long dress that
you have to pull up to your knees to go upstairs or jump over a puddle!
And love the floppy hat too.

  4. Love BOTH outfits! I feel the same way about some pieces that make one look preggo when indeed your not. Just look at the pieces as investments to use when you are preggo later. ;) xoxo A-

  11. I tend to hide my legs as much as possible, so maxi dresses are a favorite of mine in the spring/summer! I love this one, especially the way you styled the second look. I would have never thought of that!
