A Night at the Fair

We went to the fair about a week ago with our friends Karli and Andrew and we had SO much fun! It was definitely an experience. We saw all sorts of colorful people. For the first twenty minutes we just kind of walked around and watched people. We started out by shooting some baskets. But we soon found out we were getting ripped off. The lady kept saying "If you make it you pay me, but if you lose I pay you." We're not quite sure if we were missing something or if she was just not quite right. The giant slide was my favorite – a definite thriller. I may or may not have let out a child like squeal the whole way down. I've never been one for spinning rides. For instance, the teacups at Disneyland aren't exactly fun for me. However, after some persuasion, Karli finally got us to go on the Starship 4000. Basically, it spins so fast that the pressure of the momentum pins you to the sides of the ride to the point that you're practically levitating. It was sort of sickening, but so hilarious. On one side of me Andy was silently looking forward and on the other Karli was rolling around all over the place while Andrew just kept saying, "Why did you make me do this?" I was laughing so hard I was crying. So, surprisingly I enjoyed it. The blurry picture above represents pretty well the way we felt afterwards.
We enjoyed riding the rides and eating some Navajo Fry Bread. Needless to say it was a good night!
