Ninja Wannabe

You know these headbands? Well I think they're darling... on other people. So, when I saw one that I loved at F21 I snatched it right up thinking, "Oh I can't wait to wear this. It'll add so much spice to a simple outfit!" Well, turns out they're just not that cute on me. I felt like a ninja wannabe. And I felt like I was getting my brains squeezed out –talk about a headache waiting to happen. But, I thought maybe I was just unaccustomed to wearing them, so I persevered. That is until I walked on campus and everyone was looking at me like I was a foreign object. Maybe it was all in my head and I was just sensitive about it to begin with because I didn't feel like I was rockin' it. Normally I would have embraced my ninja-ness and karate chopped those stares in half, but I just didn't feel confident. Any tips on how to wear those cute silk, knotted headbands?

    I had the same issue! So instead I just bought a bunch of knotted headbands (and actual scarves) and started wearing them (solution for a bad hair day while growing out my short hair!).     I've always wanted to try and pull off those head bands, but every time I do I look like a complete hot mess. The trend is just not for me I guess!

    I haven't the faintest idea! I'm in the same boat as you - I feel like I'm working on the railroad! Give it time, maybe we'll come around, but I'm sure by then it'll be out of style! Drat!

    I've never been able to pull off headbands and scarves very well either! My head was not designed for them!
